Background:

I grew up on a farm in MacDowall where I still live now with my daughter and two dog. I have two sisters, one younger and one older and I am very close with both of them. I played every sport in elementary school and absolutely loved it, but once I got to high school insecurities started to set in and I stopped physical active altogether. After high school ended and I found out I was having a daughter I decided right then and there I wanted to make a change to be healthy and happy, I wanted to raise my daughter to be strong and confident but I couldn’t do that if I wasn’t. I spent my year of mat-leave doing at home workouts and running with a jogging stroller and lost 60lbs. After that year I joined Saskpro and new right away I had found my passion and my community to keep me on my fitness journey!

What are you training for now:

Right now I’d just like to keep training to be better at Crossfit so I can be the best coach I can be. I also plan on taking part in as many competitions as possible.

What are you 90 day or 2015 Goals:

I have many little goals, prs I’d like to get ect. but I think my biggest goal for this year is to work hard to grow and learn as a coach to be the best I can be.

What do you like best about coaching at Saskpro?

Well I am just getting started but I know my favorite thing will be seeing the faces when someone finally achieve a goal big or small, I know how amazing that feeling is and to see the smiles on peoples faces and to know maybe I was a part of getting them there will be the best feeling.

What’s one thing about yourself that might surprise people?

I think it would surprise people to know I am quite the counrty girl. I love to do my hair, make up and dress up but I love to fish, hunt, quad, skidoo just as much.
